GET THE LOOK:
If your client has curly hair:
STEP 1: Create a middle part when wet.
STEP 2: Apply a curl enhancing cream throughout from roots to ends.
STEP 3: Air dry or lightly dry using a diffuser on low speed and low heat from underneath so as not to create volume at the roots.
STEP 4: Shake out with fingers.
If your client has straight or wavy hair:
STEP 1: Use a medium-sized curling iron to re-create this look.
STEP 2: Prep hair by misting a light hairspray all over to create texture to the hair.
STEP 3: Create a middle side part and using the curling iron vertically and wind small sections all over making sure to keep the top on the flatter side.
Vaughn Acord gives his winning look for the 56th Grammy Awards to stars like Macklemore,Ryan Lewis, and Robin Thicke. “The Grammy Awards often have a much looser feel when it comes to style so it is an opportunity for artists to show their individuality.” These three celebs sported styles that showed off a longer top with extreme shorter sides. It’s super sleek and gutsy,” he says.
